So what does a phase mean?
A PHASE meant that the reality is starting from the beginning once the particular demon is sealed. PHASE 1 ends when Greed is sealed. So once the phase ends EVERYTHING that is directly caused by Greed (Gerald's murder, Ryuuzaki getting burned, Drake getting impaled) will be reset.
