This is all really personal and hard for me to talk about. :/ Perfect comic fodder, I guess, haha.

I had a friend with similar identity issues back in the days before the internet. Needless to say, she did not have a very pleasent time at high school.
The comparison with social acceptence then and now is made very obvious to me as my step-childrens sitter is currently in transition and I have known her since before she was cleared to start the hormone therapy.
I do understand that a lot of what you are sharing in this comic is painful for you and appreciate the effort you are making to share.
I hope that anyone else reading this comic who is having difficulties with their identity will take heart from your story.
