This episode goes along with my general "Welcome Baby Week" theme. I recently got my first nephew and it got me thinking about my own anxiety around having children. I go back and forth between, not only whether or not I want kids, but also whether I want to adopt or actually have a child.

I love kids, so I do think I want kids, but I also realize there is a lot of anxiety that comes with taking care of a child. Even if you make it past the fragility of an infant, the potential for anxiety when you have a child in your care lasts forever. Not to mention, there is a lot of gross stuff that comes with children.

This episode looks at the idea of anxiety pulling the strings of the decision process from its headquarters in the brain.
