THE merchant

The merchant is, among many things, Eina's father, a guy with bright red skin, super old, and completely blind. He's incredibly tall too, even taller than Ader (around 2m/6,5 feet). He's famously mercurial in his mood swings and ramblings (but his expression never ever changes), though he's consistently a jerkass and a rather distant father. No one knows what happened to Eina's mother; the merchant simply left Eyrlum, the capital, for a few years (a decade at least!) and came back with Eina just a couple of years prior to the beginning of the story.
