Berbiz of Askethaz is the heir to the County of Home of Askethaz (redundant!).
When his horns were just beginning to grow, his cousin Elvar hit his head so hard with a mace during a sparring session that the base of his horns quite literally sank into his skull, never to return. A hornless deer may as well not be a man at all to the rest of society, so he was cast away to join the Order of the Wise Men in the capital, Eyrlum, far from his home in the northwest. He's good friends with other (relative) social outcasts in palace, such as Ilegrab or Sep.
His family is in charge of custodying Sep's family lineage as long as they reside in Acazhor (read: Sep's whole family serve them)
