That first panel is the kind of shit that happens when I miscalculate the number of panels for a last page and I have one to spare. The lil' joke there is that if Soda hadn't been so dumb, he would have won twice already since Brushfire actually said 'powerful' at least twice.
But yeah, who guessed that this was what Amethyst saw? It's pretty heavy, but the reason she didn't flip out more is because of her mixed feelings and her true brave nature coming out. She wanted to bring the humans back on her own terms, but now that it's happened in such a roundabout way, she'll have to deal with the fact that they will be totally out of her control. More authentic that way, but... I mean having no control is basically the throughline of this whole thing CX
So yeah, this is the end of chapter 2, of three chapters. If you missed where chapter 1 ended, that's because it didn't, but I'm retroactively adding a break in there around page 116. Now for the process of making these into my first ever full colour printed books ^__^ I checked out Lulu.com's prices on such things and it doesn't look too bad.
But before that, I'll finally get onto that comic commission I should have done like, a full year ago ^__^'
Oh and if you notice anything weird about this page or my writing in general, it's because I'm off my nut on painkillers because of the flu I have right now. Blegh.
50,000 years after the human race destroyed itself, other animal species have evolved amongst our ruins to use the tools we left behind. A small group of marsupials are searching for lost human technology that can bring an end to the dominance of the highly advanced but dangerously paranoid rat race.
