Carrie Fisher was an influential geek girl icon who helped to bring women into the geek community where it once was mostly a "boys only" club. A lot of people, including myself, looked up to her. She was a strong, intelligent, beautiful and fabulous woman who wasn't afraid to speak her mind and be unapologetically herself. She will be greatly missed.
