Haha, our cats (yes, the ones from Two Red Cats https://tapas.io/series/TwoRedCats ) stay outside practically all the year and... yes, it's so true! They shed faster and with a lot more of intensity than all the indoor cats that we know. Basically, when it's the time, we pass a hand on their backs and tons of fur starts floating in the hair and sticking to our clothes XD
