The Long cold winter
Through it I march onward
Donning my thickest jacket
The bastion against the cold
What protects me from the harsh cold however
Does not protect from the disconnect
between the world and I
As the flesh, is walled up by my jacket
Through the sleet and hail however,
I see a greats fires, warm fires
They bring me warm soup and warm talk
Suddenly, the jacket disappears
Its purpose, fulfilled.
