The Beginning

Day 1: Andi sat on top of the grassy knoll, watching the sun rise over her sleepy town. A heavy mist hung low in the valley, hazily lingering on top the wheat fields. It was her daily routine, getting up before everyone else to have a little time to herself. She enjoyed the loneliness and the quiet. Before long, she would have to stroll into the waking city and being her work. Every day was the same.
