Episode 6: Counterattack

The monster charges towards Vincent with great speed, leaving toxic tracks in its path. It raises its arm, its mighty claws imposing a fearsome shadow on the vampire. The creatures under Vincent's command fly away in fear -- they have borne witness to the creature's brute strength before, and they dare not incense him any further.

With a swift swing of his sword, Vincent cuts off the creature's arm. He twirls through the air as the monster screams in pain. Suddenly, his blade punctures the beast's skull. A quick stab -- ruthless, relentless, surgical -- and the beast falls to the ground, lobotomized.

Ting watches in shock as Vincent emerges from the battle unscathed. The vampire's eyes still glow with determination -- or is it subdued rage? Will the feline be the next target? Ting steps back, ready to cast a defensive spell if need be.

Drained of all his energies, no thanks to centuries of slumber, Vincent plops face-down to the ground. There will be no massacre tonight.
