Haruto calls his Grandmother to inform her of his first day. She reminds him of the one rule he must abide, but tells him of an "Exception"...just what could that mean?
-Author's Note: "The huge gap between the first chapter and second will hopefully not happen again any time soon. No excuses, but I was busy with the Scholastic Art & Writing Competition (I got an Honorable mention and Gold Key) and homework, but now that the first is done, and I have figured out a better way to manage my time, I will attempt to publish chapters more frequently, or at least, not as big a gap as this one, at least 1 every 2 weeks is my goal, but my true goal is a weekly submission. Sorry this chapter seems so dull in comparison as the last one. I will try to improve the quality over time and give the readers the quality they deserve."
Born from tragedy, Himura Haruto has a special ability that he must keep secret. Orphaned, and taken in by his grandmother, he has been homeschooled for most of his academic career. As a kid, he attempted to befriend many children his age, but mysteriously, they all died to illness days after interacting with Haruto. It's because of this that Haruto has been homeschooled. It wasn't until the end of his 9th year that his grandmother told him to move by himself to Kyoto to attend highschool...but why? Why now, did she tell him to attend a public school, after keeping him inside for years? Haruto suspects that she's keeping secrets from him...like his special ability and the deaths of the children from his past. Could it be that this school might reveal some answers? If not the school, the people in it? Whatever it may be, Haruto's life is soon about to change...
