In all honesty for as long as I can remember, I always thought of people as whatever gender they believed themselves to be.
Oddly enough both those who were against transgender people, and even a lot of the trans individuals I'd met, had been surprised at how easily I approached the subject.
It didn't make a whole lot of sense to me. The concept of not accepting someone simply because they don't see themselves the same way that you see them was and still is totally abhorrent. It still makes no sense to me, I was taught by my parents at a young age to try and be understanding and loving of people who had done nothing wrong.
Which is why I can't for the life of me even begin to understand those bothersome individuals, who go out of their way to be horrible and oftentimes downright grotesque in their treatment of other human beings. Human beings that are simply trying to live life and love themselves.
What I'm getting at is (To try and simplify, since I normally crack jokes) that you, are you. Everyone who understands, supports, or cares about you will see you as how you feel on the inside. The individuals who refuse to do so, really don't matter a whole lot.
I'm not transgendered myself, but it's really not hard to empathize with you.
You seem like a swell guy, who now has a swell haircut to match.
