Really cool new story/environment stuff coming next week!! :D
Small fixes this week:
-tweaked the camera so it’s bit more zoomed in, and you don’t feel as separated from your character. I think I’ve got the right balance…
-Fixed a small bug where when switching between colour palettes, the new palette wouldn’t spawn from the very centre top
-Added audio and sound effects!!! Really sorry that you can’t hear them just yet, but there’s temp background music ambience, button hover sounds, and cool whooshes for when you activate and deactivate the colour palette. When I make the music for the character creator, I’ll put it on SoundCloud so you can all listen to it from the desktop site!
-Sped up the open/close animation a lot for the colour palette so it matches the audio I’m using right now. also made it close 1.3 times slower than it opens for a cool subtle effect.
-Fixed a massive bug where the game was calling a super processor taxing function every single frame, and it was making just using the character creator virtually impossible. Turns out I didn’t need to call it all the time, and I added some restrictions to sop it XD
