"One evening, there was a terrible storm; it thundered and lightninged as the rain poured down in tourrents. There was a knock at the door and as the king opened it, there stood a woman drenched in the rain. She claimed herself to be a princess and wished to stay at their home for the night."
I took some liberties in shortening this part of the story to fit better with the image.
