It's been a while since I updated this. Mainly because I've been on holiday, doing commissions, and more recently, become hideously depressed at returning to work. Well, that might be an exaggeration. Perhaps only mildly hideously depressed.
The most hideous part is that I'm still only being paid at a 0.6 wage, but I'm actually working a 0.7 load. This means I will have much less time to do art and probably won't be able to do two pages a week anymore. I supposedly am going to be underload in the second semester, but I'll believe that when I see it, especially if teachers keep quitting at my school at their present rate. (2-3 per week)
But anyway yes. I was going to have a scene like this during Brushfire's speech on the last page, but she didn't talk long enough for it, and also I realised it would be better to leave the fact that a lemur machine survived until the start of the next chapter ^^
Here we have the intro of a few new minor characters: A lemur documentary crew led by Major Balderdash Swiftwallop and his camera operator, Zipster Zoom. Looks like there are a few more lemurs still kicking around in the far reaches of the world!
Oh man... they don't even know about madagascar yet. and they are the last seven lemurs?!? i hope only on this continante... a small colony here, a research station there? anything?
50,000 years after the human race destroyed itself, other animal species have evolved amongst our ruins to use the tools we left behind. A small group of marsupials are searching for lost human technology that can bring an end to the dominance of the highly advanced but dangerously paranoid rat race.
