Actually, this scene with Froggit from the first episode has it's background - this is the very first Froggit, which you meet after tutorial with Dummy. It attacks you in corridor before spiked bridge, as soon as Toriel disappears behind a corner. If you’ll try to interact with Froggit or to spare him Toriel will come back and drive him away, but if you’ll kill him she won’t notice anything.
