This comic is kind of an enigma to me now. Drawn several years ago, I cannot fathom myself being able to reproduce the contents before you. The general panel size is exactly 2 inches by 2 inches, which is smaller than post-it notes. If I didn’t imminent domain other panels to form bigger pictures, then there’s room for 20 panels.
That is clown overkill.
Way to go teen-me!
Now, stop slacking off and get to work adult-me!
Legend has it that sometime in the early 90’s, I created a get-well card for my grandfather with a clown that said “No clowning around, get better soon!”
I know, comedic gold.
That spawned the Clown Crew, which became the first group of reoccurring characters I would draw on a regular basis. Cut to me in high school, I took a make-a-comic-book class at the Academy Of Art College in San Francisco. My dad suggested using these clowns as the main protagonists (or antagonists depending on your clown tolerance level).
