Just a piece of advice: you can easily adjust the contrast, brightness and saturation levels of your drawings with Windows default "Image viewer".
W8/10 has two of them, one which carried over from Vista and another one exclusive to it: you want the latter if you use W8/10, and the former if you use Vista (i think XP had it too, but i can't remember right now...)
