Tristan used Dramatic Announcement!
It's not very effective...
So, there was a hiatus. I'm not sure if anyone will actually read this, but here's what happened, and what's going to happen:
I'm in college, but school has been making me really unhappy for a while now. I originally started this project as something I actually enjoyed doing, but for a while there I didn't have the energy or the motivation to even work on it. So I'm taking the next quarter off to sort my life out.
What does this mean for the comic? Well, I might have more time to draw, but I also might have issues scanning pages (I've been using the scanners in the school library). Worst case scenario, this comic will be on hiatus until I go back in the fall, but I don't think it will come to that.
Whatever happens, I WILL finish this, even if I can't come out with pages as frequently as I'd originally planned. Dark Lords and Dragons may be kind of a silly story, but it's one that means a lot to me, and I don't intend to give up on it.
[ This series is on indefinite hiatus. If you're curious how it would have gone, there's now a short written version: https://tapas.io/episode/1152918 ]
When Tristan hears the call to adventure, he’s ready to leave home and set off on a quest to defeat the Dark Lord and save the world, and drag his best friend Caleb along to help. Too bad magic only exists in stories.
Dark Lords and Dragons is the product of a childhood spent escaping into fantasy novels. It’s about friendship, imagination, and the power of stories.
