Right, this isn't a comic, again. But it's something I might do in the future.
A little background to this;
"When I was a kid, I saw one of the films of Enteng Kabisote as this funny guy who apparently fell in love with a fairy disguised as a human...
Something must've happened over the course of the movie (duh!), which is why he's fighting these mooks, and going toe-to-toe with a frickin' dragon...
By defeating the dragon, he takes its blood, and returns to the human world and gives it to his dying daughter...
That was Enteng Kabisote, well, to me at least. A guy just like Frodo and Bilbo Baggins-esque character, someone small in a big, and rather unusual world who does the impossible for his family, friends, and others."
The writers, the screenplaywrights, and the entire crew of this movie had a job. Do something like that, but add a little difference. But keep the heart of what Enteng Kabisote truly was as a good person, and all-around good guy intact.
Nowadays, especially with the release of his TENTH Christmas "novelty" (a.k.a. another movie of, stuff/s?) titled "Enteng Kabisote: Da Soich For More Pera". The big cheeses behind his earlier successes have already forgotten how to write this guy entirely.
This movie is probably a meal fit for a movie riffer to enjoy. Bland characters, a failing (-ed) plot and subplot, tadbits of poor attempts to be "hip and cool", and a whole lot of pandering, product placement that just won't leave your head once you've seen it.
Take note, ladies and gentlemen. One of the good things that happened during the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival, was this film not winning a single award.
