Usually, nightfall would mark the time for a ceremony, an occurrence where many dogs would gather to watch as a dog celebrated gaining a promotion, announced the litter they were expecting, or where a young dog gained their full name.
Tonight, three young dogs were ready to earn their names. But due to the poor weather, it has been agreed that the ceremony will be small - hosted only by two adult dogs, and watched on by the young dogs parents and/or teachers.
