What Did We Learn Today:
*Kid Tristan leveled up to Teen Tristan!
*Now armed with teenage sass, Tristan is tired of waiting around for his father to show back up, and decides to help his only known relative, King Markus during daddy’s hiatus.
*Bird Uncle convinces Tristan that the best way to help his human uncle is to see the Rune Master to equip himself with a magic rune.
*We meet the priest, Maethis, just as he is told by his friend-with-poor-boundaries, the angel Metatron, that God has started the doomsday clock to Armageddon due to rank royals making conniving contracts with these occult owls. Maethis does not take the news well.
*Lispy orange dude in a mask is still alive and still ticked off for undefined reasons at Tristan’s family. Just now realizing (a decade later) Tristan had a Stolas demon, lispy orange dude in a mask attacks the Stolas demon compound much to the confusion of the demons since they’re happy to talk business.
*We witnessed Birdbecca’s fifteen minutes of fame. What pretty things was she planning to draw? Pretty flowers? Pretty doorknobs? Pretty flies on white guys? The world will never know/care.

I find it’s really hard to sell myself when I have nothing to sell. I’m a dude who draws who’s willing to share this tale I’m telling with anyone who has free time. So, ‘Deceivers&Believers’ is my comic about actual angels and demons trying to instigate influence over my chaotic characters. Unfortunately for the forces of good and evil, people seem to be an assorted mix of both good and evil traits and it depends on the time of day which side they’re siding with. What I think I’ve created is something that is both inspiring and infuriating, literal but layered, sweet yet salty. I simply adore complex characters and if you do too, let’s hang out?
