Recently I tried taking what I know about short story writing and using it in music. It's interesting trying to construct a song focusing on a 3 act structure instead of verse chorus. The ideas go from 'how do I get to the good part?' to 'what kind of journey do I want to send the listener on?' But the greatest part would have been realizing that no matter how much I learn about creating, there's still so much I don't know. And I just find that exhilarating.
