Yes, my reaction to my first encounter with the blood moon was to get off my horse and run round in circles.

I find the blood moon annoying now honestly. The first time freaked me out, but once I got the short video while sleeping at the inn. I have never had trouble with the blood moon but maybe I have just been lucky.
