I'm someone who deeply appreciates being alone with internet access. If I had to choose I'd cut the internet access, but luckily we live in times where I don't have to.

I like going out with friends (especially in summer!), but never have I ever felt bad for not doing so. I know many people who can't stand being alone - and who can't stand silence - but I'm just not one of them.

So trains are about the worst thing in the world as far as I'm concerned, and I'm more than happy I can normally ride my bicycle. Funnily enough I'm even faster by bike than by train, so whenever weather allows (meaning no ice, rain is cool) I'm in the saddle hunting whoever has the bad luck of being in front of me.
