I'm the little sister. My toys always had to have their loyalties checked. The seahorse was a bad guy once. Its singing was enchanted and all toys that heard it would fall asleep. The mouse had to play his cardboard-cut-out guitar to save the Kingdom. No lie. I clearly remember this.
Fun fact: The elder sister has green hair with black streaks.
Did you notice the page numbers? The first page starts on page 99. In my manga class, each classmate created a short story and they were combined into a book as our final class product/project. My story was the 7th story in.
Who's interested in Candy's Beanie Babies? I actually own 2 of the ones I gave her. Beary is a flopsier version of my brother's stuffed bear that sits on his desk.
FYI I will have the pages post weekly on Friday mornings. Maybe Wednesday mornings too if there's interest. There's not so many pages so I want to drag this out a teeny bit.

(Read Comic: Right-to-Left) A girl studies for her mage lessons at school but her little sister causes problems. Of course things gets worse before it gets better.
This is a short story (8 pages) that I wrote and drew for my manga art class while I studied abroad in Japan in 2013. This whole thing was drawn manually and I used real screentones. Nothing was made digitally (except for printing some text as stickers... but that doesn't count). If people are interested, I'll share some of my notes from the class and steps of my process. I could take photos of the class's final project book, too. I hope you like it!
