We finally get a look at what the edge of the twilight shroud looks like here. Similar hexagonal white stuff to the pylons! What a shocker!
Oh by the way, the reason the shroud itself is that dark grey-red colour is because of the wavelengths of light that are filtered out for conversion into energy, and also the reason why those living under the shroud (rats mainly) use red screens because that is the colour that their eyes have become accustomed to seeing most clearly.
