Angels of Death are Tasked with harvesting freshly dead souls, and send them to the afterlife to get recycled through the system. They know exactly when a mortal will die, and it's their job to make sure their deaths happen on schedule. The guides through the River Stix must always complete their task. Always.
However, when a young girl's short time left would be spent cold and alone, her newly perished mother spirit refuses to pass on. In order to reap her soul properly, Dabria promises to fill the child's remaining days with warmth, care, and happiness- but is that really so attainable when Dabria herself was born without emotions? Can a blank slate truly care for an innocent soul and nurture it?
