Now before we go anywhere I want to clarify that when I say comparison it could also mean the way a person draws. Our art is unique in our own way, but some people find little things like the shape of the eyes that remind them of a character from maybe a comic, manga, anime, or even book.
Now when you say "Hey this reminds me of-" or "Wow they kinda look like" even "your art resembles-" that's not exactly a 'good' thing to say to an artist; especially if you or others CONSTANTLY compare said artist to another.
For me when this happens, it makes me feel inferior, non-creative, and flat out like all the hard work I put in was for nothing. I don't want to pick up my pencil, nor even open up sai when I'm being seen as someone's 'shadow' so to speak. I don't feel like I've made MY OWN mark for people to remember me by, and that kinda really sucks.
I totally feel you on this, it's such a struggle. It's one of the most disheartening things to be told that your art looks just like another artists. I feel like it devalues your own art, and all the time and passion that you put into it.

This is a small journal of Sound and their day to day life. It can be sad, happy, tragic, funny, and even confusing; who knows. You'll only know when their life is together!
