19- Dumb Householder Responses

The purpose of this comic is not to disparage the individuals who put their foot in their mouth at the door. The comic is called dumb householder *responses*, not dumb *householders* . We all say dumb things or come up with lame excuses every now and then. Rather, it's just to help people realize that we all make mistakes, and sometimes if that lame excuse doesn't fool you, it doesn't fool us either.

The one I like to use is “What a great Idea! By the way, Have you herd of Joseph Smith?” It usually doesn’t work, they just kind of chuckle… How often do you hear that one? I have a sneaking suspicion that I’m very unoriginal...
