We don't have an expensive video monitor, either. We have possibly the cheapest one you can get. It doesn't have a mobile app, there's no motion sensor, and the screen is pretty tiny. But we're blown away by it.
It makes Kari and I wonder what parents did before video monitors were invented. I don't even think my parents had AUDIO MONITORS when my sister and I were little. To tell the truth, it's a wonder we survived! I can't believe that no one in my generation ever snuck out of their crib and held a rave.
Come to think of it, that's probably what the pre-video-monitor 80s looked like: babies sneaking out of cribs and holding little baby raves in nurseries all over the world. It's no wonder there are so many successful EDM DJs in their late 30s and early 40s. It's nostalgia for us!
