This is the end of the first number of the comic and this is all we have to share with you for now.
This comic was translated from Romanian, and is part of a series called Convergent. Two psychological novels have been published from the same series, focusing on the same characters and including some many others.
Convergent is a series of contemporary, psychological, realistic stories which bring forth complex and uncomfortable themes of social injustice. The novels and comics of the Convergent series all take place in Romania, tackling subjects like homosexuality (which was illegal in Romania until 2001), child abuse, violence, rape, domestic violence, substance abuse in teens, and child sexual abuse.
From the same series:
First there was the Lie, the first novel of the Convergent series, focuses on Thomas, an A grade student who gets involved in an unconventional relationship which leads him to discover unknown abilities through which he manipulates his friends and family, all for the sake of keeping up appearances and securing his position in the hierarchy of his high school.
Beneath these Hands, the second novel of the Convergent series, tells the story of Sevan and Mara; even though they seem like two ordinary teenagers, they each bear the burden of a difficult childhood. While Mara’s trauma made her predisposed to violent behavior, Sevan struggles with the psychological wounds of the abuse that marked him, trying to deny these influences which stigmatize his whole being.
The convergent series was initially written in Romanian, but we decided to translate the comic book to English and publish it here as a webcomic. We would like to raise money to translate the novels as well. You can help with that by supporting us on Patreon.

This looks interesting! Re that post on FB, I can see how this will be a tough sell in the webcomics world, I have the same problem with my comics. Not short and simply funny, and that's always a lot more work to get people to look at. But looks good, will bookmark to come back and read later.
