In an alternate universe, hybrids were bred in captivity for humans to use for personal and entertainment purposes.
15 years ago, a ban had been put up against hybrids after the rapid increase of hybrids trying to seek freedom. The ban forced every hybrid facility to "get rid" of all of their hybrids, and so they did.
Many succeeded in escaping but unfortunately, the majority wasn't that lucky.
Now the hybrids that were lucky enough to get out live in hiding in a constant fear of being found out.
