Diwata are beautiful "lesser gods" (more akin to forest dryads or fairies).
Unlike most, the Diwata are deterred from engaging in relationships with any other kin, as such, half-diwata are uncommon and are often ostracized by the traditional ones of their kind.
In Philippine mythology, there are a handful of tales about the women of the mountains and how they are kind and generous to the good as they ruthless to the evil. (and how they turn down their suitors all the time HAHA)
"Pasok na mga bata" = Come in children/students
"Kalahati" = Half
