Diwata are beautiful "lesser gods" (more akin to forest dryads or fairies).
Unlike most, the Diwata are deterred from engaging in relationships with any other kin, as such, half-diwata are uncommon and are often ostracized by the traditional ones of their kind.
In Philippine mythology, there are a handful of tales about the women of the mountains and how they are kind and generous to the good as they ruthless to the evil. (and how they turn down their suitors all the time HAHA)
Masusuway ba nila ang Tadhana?
(Will they be able to challenge Fate?)
The stories of a serpent god who ate seven moons , horse headed men, good witches , tall dwares, a dark being disguised as an angel , a punk rock...mermaid? And many other interesting personalities will cross together in the fabric of life as the threads of fate pull together the most unlikely set of friends.
