EDIT: I changed Terra to Gena because Terra sounded too generic and sci-fi for a fantasy-centric story.
The Versian’s horns are sensory organ like a shark’s electroreception, where they can sense near by living things, but in this case the horns can sense the stored and potential energy in things. It’s a blessing and a curse. It’s also what give the Versian an advantage in threading.
I’m aware the concept of this cosmic bridge is kinda strange and abstract… Think of it like a metaphysical worm hole with the ability to be aware of positive and negative energies. Or erm, in English, it’s basically a portal that can judge you. Also it’s not that long, this is just for visual purposes. It’s realistically a day or so traveling on foot between Terra and Verso.
