WARNING: WALL OF TEXT BELOW (You don't have to read it. It's not important.)
Journal excerpts of an unknown person:
"We believe subject hails from a timeline similar to our own. She claims to be human, but we have suspicions that this may not be the case. After all, what human can not only survive a flood of puns but enjoy such torture? However, we must not exclude the possibility of there being some truth in her claims. Perhaps her body is indeed human and it is only her mind that is not of human origins? [...] Further questioning and observation has not lead us any closer to unlocking her secrets at this time."
"Subject has been observed to liking peanut butter, shrimp flavored chips, and sigsig. However, she refuses to eat mussels, oysters, mushroom, and balut. She also spends her time lost in thought, doodling, or playing casual games."
"Subject has taken a bit of interest in aquatic life, most notably sharks. She also appears to quite comfortable in water and on the beach shore. Perhaps this could be a clue? (Update: She just wanted a shark plush)"
"Something quite unusual occurred today. An unlikely event from one of Author's dreams came true[...] See Dream Log 4.13."
"[...] She dreams of horror and has been distant as of late. She appears to be seeing something not observable to us. I pray this is not a sign."
[The following excerpt is from the final entry written in the journal. Most of the original entry is illegible and the following is the official interpretation of the work.]
"They're here. They've [come] for her. I fear [...] last entry for I [...] from them. [I'm] not sure [...] they are. [...] form of humans [...] horns and grey skin. I spotted [...] probably [...] aquatic variation. This may [...] answer [...] looking for [...] I've been looking for. I hear [...] They're [...] Author [...] tell her [...] called [...] They've [...] know I'm here."
Each Introducing update is like unlocking a new interactive character and a non-canon side plot to explore. This was not intentional. At least, not by me.
The original purpose of this series is to "test the waters"of making comics before committing to something we cannot handle. There will be obvious experimenting going on as each of us finds our own way of doing things.
Updates are random. Art will change depending on who is drawing. Most of this is based on conversations in chat.
