On February 18, 1781 Alexander Hamilton wrote a letter to Philip Schuyler. What was in that letter was a rant like no other. On that day Washington and Hamilton were at a gathering. Many soldiers were there and Washington needed to seak to Hamilton in private, he took him aside and was like "yo meet me at the top of the stairs" so Hamilton agreed. Washington went ahead of him. Hamilton must have been stopped by about ehhh 2 or 3 different people, the third person being Marquis de Lafayette. Hamilton in the middle of Lafayettes story was like "listen I gotta go."
Ten minutes had past when Hamilton finally arrived at the top of the stairs. Washington, to say the least, wasn't thrilled Hamilton made him wait. The conversation that ensued basically went "what the hell have you been doing? I told you to meet me here 10 minutes ago. Ummmmmmm Wtf even? Are you disrespecting me???"
To which Hamilton responded "I DONT NEED TO TAKE THIS. I DONT EVEN WANT TO BE HERE! I GUESS YOU DONT WANT ME HERE EITHER!"
Washington then said "k bye."
AND HE QUIT THE REVOLUTION. The matter was solved within the day, but holy shit??? Hamilton needed a chill pill.
