This page was a pain to colour. I still have no idea how to convey the darkness of the area they live in while making sure you can actually see what's going on. xD
Hopefully, when they go out into the sunlight, these pages will look proper dark in comparison.
Also.. I don't know if this may actually help or not (or backfire instead), but by D&D knowledge.. (yes, it's a skill. roll d20 xD)
those with darkvision can see in color if there's any light, even dim, and in absolute darkness in grayscale.
You could toy with this concept, with areas inside a lighted area having colors, and complete darkness not (though your colors are gorgeous), or try something out the box.
another idea would be to make the transition from darkness (and darkvision) to daylight really catchy. Using flares, really bright/burnt out colors, halos, anything. you could really interpret it however you want and just have fun.
(things could even go really psychedelic lol)
just for the transition.
going to normal colors (albeit brighter) could signify they getting used to it.
just food for thought, important is you have fun and like what you are doing ^^
Sorlan lived a decent life, filled with petty thievery and the occasional pining for adventure.
One day, after meeting the Aduial twins, Naneth and Lain, his pining comes to an end and he realises that perhaps adventuring isn't all it's cracked up to be.
