ahh, first of all: thank you all so much for over 1.8k!! ♡ ♡ i really wasn't expecting this series to get so much interest so early on, thank you! this is the first of a circle of short stories that will go up without a schedule in the months that separate us from the very first update! they are not plot-related, and are mostly supposed to introduce you to the characters and get you comfortable with them before you see them in action. either donrian or laurent comes next!

esmé, our female lead, is a vampire that doesn't settle well with stereotypical vampires... she's loud, is always full of energy and isn't as blood-thirsty as one might think: in fact, vampires stopped chasing human blood many, many ages ago, with the last case happening in 1848. i hope you like her, i really look forward to introducing her in the second week of official updates!! ♡
