8 page comic, 3 characters. I didn't have to think too hard on it. I'm a perfectionist though so I had to be sure I knew exactly what they were wearing, what toys Candice would have, and how the front of the house is too.
There's a height reference between adults and kids included because I wanted to check my proportions with other heights. (Can you tell that two are Dojima and Nanako from Persona 4?)
and then for fun I was trying out sensei's copic markers and making note of the names of the colors. Candy's having a blast with the bright colors there!
In the next update, you'll probably notice the symbols I used to distinguish the older and younger sisters everywhere. Please look forward to seeing the full storyboard in the next episode! ^^
(Read Comic: Right-to-Left) A girl studies for her mage lessons at school but her little sister causes problems. Of course things gets worse before it gets better.
This is a short story (8 pages) that I wrote and drew for my manga art class while I studied abroad in Japan in 2013. This whole thing was drawn manually and I used real screentones. Nothing was made digitally (except for printing some text as stickers... but that doesn't count). If people are interested, I'll share some of my notes from the class and steps of my process. I could take photos of the class's final project book, too. I hope you like it!
