(5) looks good but with the shoulder part of (2) or (3) instead.
What is a bit confusing for me still is how much bigger and more massive it looks compared to her right arm.
Just imagine her rotating or climbing: there is a bit of an (visual) disproportion in how the weight is balanced on her left versus right side. With biological arms mass is in the bones and mostly decreasing from shoulder to hand. The robot 'hand' is quiet big compared to that.
Shoulder and head rotation room or lying on her left side (or passing through narrow spaces) might be harder too. So maybe decreasing the diameter slightly - a quarter maybe - would look more useful to her - is my opinion.
Just measured my (big) hands: compared to the hip the hands are about two thirds to three quarters the width. With her the hip may be even less wide than her robot hand.
Sorry I only could reply to you now. Been a busy ride those last weeks. Amazing how productive you've gotten. Slightly sad for the Sumo Dunk but likely the better decision to put it on hold if it takes to much time to finish both.
This is the comic I've been working on since 2006. It'll take at least 2 more years before i post the first chapter but i thought i'll post the process here.
In fact all the other comics i post here are to help me get the skills i need to make this comic.
