RIKKI is an art project created by Finnish artists. The project includes publications, exhibitions and workshops.
RIKKI project showcases the struggles of mental health sufferers with different mediums of art. The project strives to offer support and help for rehabilitation. We want to bring out the mental illness problem in Finland and offer art as a way of therapy.

My relationship to my own mental health is harsh. It takes a very long time for me to accept something is wrong, let alone that I get help for it. And with medication I'm even worse - I usually avoid taking asprin for headaches, if at all possible.
But I don't look down upon medication or people who use them. The meds I was given helped me sleep, despite all the possible side effects. But finding the right kind of medication is just as hard as finding the right kind of shrink - even if you had the same symptoms, the same medication doesn't work for everyone.
