In Little Sicily, Chicago in 1910 there was a spate of killings on street corners, the killer becoming known as the Shotgun man.
In a sparse room in the city, an assassin waits for the calling card under his door, his next signal to kill again.
All he needs is the black palm print and a name, and of course, his shotgun.
