The injured agent being rescued in this scene is Junior Special Agent Concordia “Cordy” Bly.
If you’ve been following the Insurgent Otherworld serial novel on the Weird Luck Patreon, then you’ve already met Cordy - and also heard a bit about this chapter’s heroine/narrator, Special Agent Sojac.
Cordy's not at her best here. She usually has interesting things to say, but the whole unconscious-from-shock-and-blood-loss thing is kind of cramping her style right now.
