After Alice got back from her walk she laid down on the couch and fell asleep not meaning to. Alice hates to go to bed or take naps it’s when she starts dreaming and that’s never good. Her dreams always have that voice telling her to go into the woods or they’re replaying the time she killed her father, but they always involve blood and the woods. Alice slept until late that afternoon and woke up finding herself in a different place. Not the living room or even her house, no...she was in a mental hospital. Alice felt like she couldn’t move her body just her head, she looked around trying to see if anybody is there with her but not to her surprise, she’s alone. Alice closes her eyes and opens them to see a man standing over her with a knife before she can react he shushes her and cuts her arms, Alice lets out a scream but she can’t move. The man then goes to stab her in the heart and that’s when Alice woke up. Sweating and breathing fast, but happy the dream wasn’t real- Alice stops and looks at the floor, blood was on the floor she then checks her arm and sees cuts all over it. In a panic she runs to the bathroom and washes her arm off after that she wraps her arm in bandages and sits back on the couch. Trying to figure out how this happened, Alice sits there in silence. As the blood seeps through the bandages Alice twitches and begins to laugh. Alice can’t figure out what’s happening and can’t stop laughing, a tear rolls down her cheek as she continues to laugh. Her stomach is starting to hurt now and she struggles to catch her breath she finally stops and lays back on the couch to calm down and breath smoothly again...Alice has never had a dream like that and has never had something that happened in the dream happen in real life...what's happening.
