Splashing came from beyond the waters, getting louder and louder. She put out the fire and pulled him into the shadows. Their backs against the cave walls. Inching their way up the slope of rocks. "Over here!" She said.
Disappearing into the walls, the girl vanished. He got close, seeing a large crack enough to fit his body. He sandwiched himself between too sharply edged rock walls until he saw the girl at the end, telling him to go faster.
The faint cerulean light came from a bunch of crystal rocks, illuminating the little cave room. "Wow," He awed.
"Just keep your voice down, whatever's out there, might go away eventually." She whispered.
"The servants of Author are coming for you. Break the seed, save yourself." A ghostly whisper came to his ear. Turning around, no one was there.
"What?" Her eyebrows shot up.
"I heard a voice,"
"You're creeping me out." Her eyes still puffy red.
"I'm sorry..." He paused, focusing on the wall behind the girl. "Mira. Look, behind you."
She jolted back, her hands close together in a fist resting on her chest. "What is it!" Silently screaming at the boy.
He pointed at the cave wall. "That... this looks like the Feelingless," A painting of a four-legged creature. Their heads simultaneously looked up to see the wall filled with drawings.
"Oh, my God."
On the left, it depicted a figure wielding a sword, pointing across as the four legged creatures were running to the other side. To the right, it portrayed a large bear-like creature amassed in numbers, charging at them. At the center was a painting of a temple, with a golden round object inside it. "What is this." She asked herself.
Sneaking away from the conflicting art, he noticed another set of symbols carved just beneath it all. These are English letters. He thought, yet, he gave up understanding it.
A piercing noise stabbed his ears once more, it slowly cleared, a voice resounded in his mind.
