"The savior?" Running her fingers on the carved name, "Then, this is..." Her thoughts were interrupted by the boy stumbling down. "You okay?"
"I heard it again!"
"Huh?"
"It was the same voice I heard back in the room!" Standing up, turning his head left and right. "Who are you? Please, can you help us?"
"The portal will open, break the seed." A whisper came to his ear.
"What are you doing?" She asked.
"Who's there?"
"What are you... Look, I don't know if this is a special ability you can do but that's not really helping our situation right now!" Her voice like a hissing whisper.
"The seed." It came from the corner of the room, "Over here!" He called her.
"Keep your voice down!"
"Help me move these crystals," Digging through a rubble of broken crystals, he gasped, stumbling backward.
"Shh! Shhh! Shhh!"
"Mira..."
Slowly moving her finger away from her lips. He wiped his hands on the peak of the cascading crystal rubble. "Oh god!" Her hands shook, covering her mouth and nose. He swiped some more, the rubble went down like dominoes. "The seed..." Once more it whispered in his ears.
The bodily remains of someone wearing armor rest in the blanket of crystals, "Who is that?" She asked.
"I don't know, but I think he's the one whispering in my ear."
"Whispering in your... Alright. I am very lost here, you're telling me, this skeleton was talking to you? Telepathically?" Her voice filled with skepticism.
"I think. He was telling me about a seed."
"What seed?" The skeleton's hand, curled up in a bony fist, caging something inside, opening it, there, resting on its palm was a glowing yellow object.
"This seed." He proclaimed.
Glancing behind her he was stunned, closing his hand before the girl could look at it closely. "Hey!"
Slowly rising up, he never left his eyes to waver. Turning her head to where the boy was facing, she gasped, placing her hand on her chest and the other, grabbing the boy's arm, pulling him back.
Two red glowing eyes were staring back at them through the crack, it's breath was visible with every puff. "It is true..." She slowly stepped backward.
"The monster!" Recognizing the claws and eyes.
"No, that's... an Obelisk."
