Mephiles' POV

I can't believe Silver told about that! It's hard enough that I don't know how to act because of it, but now I have to deal with everyone else's comments!

I stomped down the sidewalk and into my apartment complex. I get my key, open the front door, and walk up the stairs to my apartment. I stop in front of my door and take a deep breath.

"I just need to calm down..." I whispered to myself before getting my key and opening my apartment door.

I walk inside and slowly close the door. I need things to keep my mind off of what happened... Nap! I'll go take a nap. That will help...

I go to my bedroom and threw myself into the bed. I'm not even going to bother with my clothes. I turned onto my back and closed my eyes, drifting into a light sleep...

Mephiles' Dream

Narrator’s POV

"We can't keep doing this," said a stressed out King Farren.

"Maybe we should try and talk to him again...?" said the King’s beloved wife, Queen Silea.

"We've tried that already. Five times to be exact! He won't listen..."

Farren rubbed his hand over his face and Silea sighed. They didn't know what to do with this war against the Demonic Kingdom. They were nearly out of supplies and warriors combined. The Demonic King was almost like them but demons, especially King Darkness, never backed down from a fight. Demons always showed that they were the best of the best.

"Mama? Papa? What's going on?"

The king and queen turn around to see their five-year-old son standing in the doorway. He was rubbing one of his eyes sleepily as he had woken up from his slumber.

"Sweetheart, you should be asleep in bed. It's nearly midnight," said Silea walking over to her child.

"But-"

"Listen to your mother son. Go back to bed Mephiles," Farren said cutting off the young boy.

"Yes papa..." said Mephiles before he walked from the room with his head and ears down.

Silea turned to her husband irritated. She put her hands on her hips and glared.

"What?" asked the king.

"You shouldn't have been so mean to him. He's only a child and children get curious about things. It wasn't his fault he wanted to know what was going on."

"Technically it is his fault for being curious and even waking up in the first place let alone coming down here."

Silea growled and narrowed her eyes. She then turned on her heels and left the room to comfort her son.

Reality

Mephiles' POV

I opened my eyes. What the hell was that? Why did I have that dream? And why did it seem like a deja vu moment? I know it hasn't happened before. That wasn't my childhood.

Wait... What was my childhood? I tried to think about my past and was only able to get to when I first met everyone. That was when I was twenty-seven. I don't remember anything before that...

I put my head in my hand and images of the dream went through my head. It was so clear...like it actually happened... Maybe it did? But that was a medieval castle and there was a King and a queen. If that was real then I could be older than I think. Wait...I don't remember there being a King Farren and Queen Silea in Möbius history...

"I'm so confused..." I said aloud.

I continued to think about it but was brought to reality when my phone rang. I looked at it to see Silver calling me. Oh yeah... I forgot about that little 'incident' he did. I sighed and pressed the answer button on my screen and put the device to my ear.

"Hey Silver."

"Hey Meph..."

"What do you want?"

"I wanted to say sorry. For what I did this morning..."

I didn't answer as I debated on whether I should forgive him or not.

"Mephiles?"

"I'll think about forgiving you."

I then hung up and set my phone down on the nightstand. I don't exactly plan on fully forgiving him right now. Especially if Sonic told the others, which he probably did, then it would take longer to think about. I don't think you should tell someone about something so embarrassing without the others permission. That just ruins things.

Now that I think about it... Why am I so worked up about it? When he said that he told Sonic about it I was hurt. Then I got mad about it. It's stupid to get angry over something like that. I should have expected Silver to tell someone but it apparently never crossed my mind. Usually someone makes a big joke out of it and laughs it off. Even if it's awkward. You know what, I should stop think about this...

I got up from my bed and went to my kitchen to make myself some lunch. I'm starving since I didn't eat anything for breakfast. 'What should I eat?' I thought. I opened the fridge and looked at the food.

"What am I hungry for?" I said aloud to myself. "Steak. That sounds good right now. But I don't have steak. Then I'll go out."

With that I grabbed my house keys and left. I walked down the street till I saw a restaurant that looked appealing to satisfy my hunger. I then saw a Cafe. That's Silver’s favorite kind of restaurant to go to...

I shook my head and continued to walk down the sidewalk. I saw a diner up ahead and decided that was a good place to eat. Even if they don't serve steak, I'll eat there. I walked in took a seat at a table for two.

"What may I get for you today sir?"

I looked up to see a purple cat with violet, gold rimmed eyes wearing a waitress outfit. There was a name tag on the left side of her chest that read 'Simai'.

"Can I have a hot tea and the fruit salad please?" I asked.

"Sure thing," she wrote down my order and went to the kitchen.

I looked back down at the table. I took out my phone and noticed that Sonic had texted me.

Sonic-

Hey Mephiles! I hope your not too mad about this morning... Just to let you know, I didn't tell anyone about that. I also want to ask, Have you talked with Silver? I tried texting him earlier and he hasn't replied…

I was a bit surprised. Silver always talks to the others. Even when he's mad or stressed out or anything. Is he waiting for me to tell him I forgive him? I can forgive him. Especially since I now know that no one else knows. With that thought in mind, I scrolled through my contacts and looked for Silver. Once I found it, I texting him.

Mephiles-

Hey Silv... Sonic told me that he tried to talk to you but you didn't reply to him... Is it because you’re waiting for my answer?

I hit the send button and put my phone on the table. The waitress came by and set my beverage and food in front of me. I said a small 'thanks' and she walked off to another table. I then began to eat my salad. After a few minutes of eating my phone went off.

Silver-

Maybe......

I sighed. I thought so....

Mephiles-

I'm not mad anymore you know

Silver-

Really?

Mephiles-

Yes really

Silver-

So you forgive me?

Mephiles-

Yes I forgive you

I could see Silver jumping around with excitement like a child. I laughed at the thought. He can really be a child sometimes...

Mephiles-

You still there Silv?

Silver-

Yes! I am! I was just so happy that you forgave me! I had thought that you'd never forgive me with how mad you were.......

Mephiles-

I calmed down and thought about it. Are you going to go answer Sonic so he doesn't worry?

Silver-

Oh yeah! I should do that! Thank you Meph! For forgiving me...

Mephiles-

I couldn't stay mad forever. Especially with the way you are

Silver-

What's that supposed to mean?! You know what, don't answer that. I'll talk to you later?

Mephiles-

Lol! Sure

I then set my phone back down and finished my food before paying and leaving. After talking with Silver and telling him that I forgave him just...made me feel so much better! It's like a weight that was lifted from my shoulders. I'm glad I forgave him...
