Most of my memories of my home country are always soak in hot summer sun, so in Grade 11 I decided to base my poem around that :,)
It's not that good but I still like it
Also, I didn't draw out the whole poem because I'm lazy, but I will finish this comic in the future I promise XD
Full poem below:
-------------------------------------------
High hills rose high on the blue canvas;
White paints splash in the background
Up on a steep grey road like a cunning snake;
The house of memories blurred
by the blazing summer sun
At night the house is the lantern;
in the never ending darkness up in the steep grey road
Comforting until the moon and the dark
brought out the stars one by one
by the house that has been extinguished
To the house of memories on the high hill
I miss how the woods would sing
Blazing sun against my skin
The typhoon beating against the white, aged walls
by night 'til we fade into the blazing sun
